Android Application Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Application Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in building performant, responsive Android apps. The ideal candidate will take ownership of features, work with cutting-edge UI components, and integrate backend APIs seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance native Android application features using Kotlin and Java.
• Design smooth canvas and graphics rendering interfaces for poster editing and custom frame personalization.
• Optimize app performance, memory consumption, startup time, and network bandwidth.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver frictionless user experiences.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code adhering to modern Android architecture principles (MVVM / Clean Architecture).
• Implement robust unit and integration tests, debug issues, and ensure high crash-free user sessions.
• Publish and manage updates on Google Play Store with adherence to Google developer guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with deep knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, Retrofit/OkHttp, and Coroutines/Flows.
• Solid understanding of Canvas, Bitmap manipulation, and image rendering pipelines is a major plus.
• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
• Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Gradle build configurations.
• Eagerness to learn, solve complex technical problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
