International Animation Day is celebrated every year on 28 October to recognise the art, creativity, and innovation of animation. Established by the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), the day commemorates the first public presentation of Théâtre Optique by Charles-Émile Reynaud in Paris in 1892, an important milestone in animation history. The occasion celebrates animators, filmmakers, illustrators, and digital artists whose work brings stories and ideas to life through moving images. It also encourages people to explore different animation techniques, including traditional hand-drawn animation, stop-motion, 2D animation, and 3D computer-generated imagery. Schools, creative communities, studios, and animation enthusiasts may mark the day through screenings, workshops, exhibitions, and educational activities. Publicity Poster helps users create engaging International Animation Day posters, creative banners, and social media designs to celebrate animation, imagination, and visual storytelling.
