World Architecture Day is observed annually on the first Monday of October and was established by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in 1985. In 2026, it falls on 5 October and is observed alongside the United Nations’ World Habitat Day. The UIA has selected the 2026 theme “Housing is a Human Right. Build It.”, focusing attention on access to safe, adequate and affordable housing and the role of architecture in creating inclusive and sustainable communities. The theme also encourages architects and related professionals to explore practical approaches such as inclusive housing models, sustainable design and the reuse of existing buildings. International Union of Architects The occasion provides an opportunity for architects, designers, students, institutions and organisations to share architectural ideas, projects and awareness content. Publicity Poster can help create professional World Architecture Day posters, architectural project creatives, awareness designs and social media posts.
